    Tigeraire Cyclone

    The Cyclone v2 is only designed and tested to fit inside Tigeraire-approved helmets, which are currently the Riddell Speedflex and Schutt F7.

    The Cyclone v2 is being used by players at all levels of football, including college and professional athletes.

    Increased airflow around your face and head helps to cool you off by improving your body's ability to sweat more efficiently - wicking away the excess moisture on your skin at a faster rate. The airflow from the Cyclone v2 provides a more breathable and comfortable playing environment for athletes of all ages.

    We use the #1 strongest industrial grade plastic to produce the Cyclone v2 enclosures, called polycarbonate (PC). If properly installed inside a Tigeraire-approved helmet, the Cyclone v2 should never break or crack when used under normal playing conditions.

    The Cyclone v2 lasts up to four hours on a full charge. Turning it off when it is not in use helps conserve battery life. 

    Under normal conditions and with regular use the Cyclone v2 can last up to four (4) seasons. 

    Tigeraire Zephyr

    Everyone! The Zephyr is designed for anyone who needs to beat the heat – whether working, competing, or playing in high temperatures – and is versatile enough to accompany its wearer on a wide range of outdoor activities, including but not limited to outdoor sports, hiking, camping, and other pursuits.

    Pretty much any way you want. The most popular method is to clip it onto hats, clothing, or lanyards. Customers are always finding interesting ways to use it, and new places to clip it. Some of which we probably shouldn’t mention here. 

    Zephyr is available in either Black or White. For additional color options, check out the Zephyr Pro. Custom colors and logos are available on bulk orders.

    All Zephyrs leave our production facilities fully charged. But, with the battery completely drained it can be fully charged in as little as 30 minutes. 

    The Zephyr is approved for use at temperatures ranging from 50° to 95°F and should be removed if you intend to be outside of that temperature range for more than 5 minutes. 

    The warranty is on manufacturer’s defects, which is one (1) year from date of purchase.

    An unopened Zephyr may be returned for a full refund within sixty (60) days of purchase, minus the cost of original shipping fees (where applicable). The customer will be responsible for all shipping fees. Refunds and exchanges will be given once the returned Zephyr has been received at the Tigeraire office.     Zephyr weighs in at a feather-light 2.5 ounces, light enough to attach to hats and clothing and to be worn for extended periods of time without discomfort. 

    Yes! We recommend clipping it to a baseball cap. We designed it for active users, and to go anywhere without falling off or limiting mobility. 

    The Air Accelerator® generates increased airflow which cools the skin and reduces body temperature, increasing comfort in even the hottest and most humid conditions.

    No way. The Zephyr design is ultra-compact and low-profile. We deliberately engineered it to make sure it would fit comfortably without obstructing your field of vision.

    The Zephyr has been designed to withstand exposure to minor splashes or light rain without compromising its functionality. But it’s not waterproof, and should not be submerged in water or exposed to heavy and sustained rain or spillage. Prolonged exposure to significant amounts of water or immersion in liquids may lead to damage.

    The Zephyr is a lightweight, water-resistant, whisper quiet 8500 rpm Air Accelerator®, offering over ten (10) hours of airflow on a single charge. And it can be easily and discreetly clipped to anywhere on your clothing. Nothing else on the market compares.

    We don’t think so. We designed it to be “whisper quiet” and our testing shows it’s not distracting to the wearer.

    Tigeraire Zephyr Pro

    250 Lumens, similar to LED flashlights available at other retailers. This is about 5x the brightness of your smartphone flashlight.

    The Air Accelerator® alone lasts over ten (10) hours. The light alone lasts over five (5) hours. The fan and light together last five (5) hours.

    There are two buttons. The fan button powers the unit on and controls the fan power and speed. The headlamp button controls the LED headlamp. 

    There are two brightness settings: high and low.

    The Zephyr Pro comes in 4 colors: Black, White, Orange, and Camo.

    Tigeraire Tornado

    The tornado is approximately 4 x 2 x 1 inches and weighs 3.5 ounces with an integrated 3.7V LiPo battery.

    The Tornado has four (4) speeds: Low, medium, high, and pulse.

    Fully charged in under an hour with the following run times:

    High = 4.5hrs
    Medium = 6.5hrs
    Low = 8.5hrs
    Pulse = 7hrs

    The Tornado comes with a magnetic charging cable which can be plugged into any standard USB-A charging block or the USB-A port in your vehicle.

    The casing is made of poly-carbonate - one of the strongest plastic materials available.

    The Tornado bracket is installed in a variety of hard hats that are rigorously tested at SEI-approved facilities. We test all major helmet brands with our Tornado bracket installed to ensure they remain compliant with OSHA regulations and the latest version of ANSI Z89.1.

    The Tornado is approved for use at temperatures ranging from 50°F to 95°F and should be removed from your hard hat if you intend to be outside of that temperature range. As far as max temperature, although the Tornado can withstand temperatures in excess of 120ºF, OSHA only recommends the use of airflow for cooling at temperatures up to 95ºF. Airflow used at temperatures above 95ºF is at the sole discretion of the customer, because we must adhere to the OSHA recommendation. The mounting bracket, however, can always remain installed.

    The Tornado fits in the middle of the crown of the hard hat

    The increased air movement accelerates the body’s natural cooling process by wicking away sweat from the surface skin and reduces body temperature, making you more comfortable in even the hottest and most humid conditions.

    The Tornado is rigorously tested at an independent, SEI-approved facility to ensure they remain compliant with OSHA regulations and ANSI Z89.1-2014.

When properly installed inside an approved hard hat, the Tornado v2 will never break or crack under normal conditions. If impacted, the bracket is designed to stay close to the surface of the hard hat dome or gently release from the surface, minimizing the risk of injury.

    The Tornado v2 is water resistant.

    The Tigeraire Tornado v2 can be used with almost any open-cavity hard hat (e.g. Bullard, MSA, Pyramex, etc.) or safety helmet (e.g. Petzl) as a rest or breaktime add-on. You can also use the Tornado v2 at all times while wearing any of the Bullard line of hard hats.

    At the top of the hard hat dome, closest to the head and blower unit we measure a 74.8dB noise level, while adjacent to the ear we measure a 62.3dB noise level. Both of these measurements are below the 85dB OSHA guideline for noise exposure.
